May 14 Preschool Graduation

Bonnie, JaCoby's preschool teacher.

JaCoby & Alexis (JaCoby's sweetheart)

Poor JaCoby missed the Kindergarten date by a few months. Poor kid but hey how many kids can say they get to go to preschool for 2 years. He is already sounding out letters and starting to read with my help. He can count past a hundred. He can count in Spanish as well but only to about 10 we are still working on that one. He can write his name. He is very observant just like his father, shoot this kid even tries to tell me how to drive and even lets me know when I get lost in this big city. Yes I have had that happen but my son is smart. I can't take all the credit. His dad has helped and of course family and friends but a lot of this credit can go to Bonnie. She has done so well with him and we love her and will miss her and her family. Here is a few pictures of JaCoby at his final preschool party they had pizza and Ice Cream which I realized later I didn't take any pictures of the Pizza probably because I had taken a ton of pictures before hand but hey here are the pictures. Alexi is JaCoby's girlfriend. I guess he is starting early to have girlfriends. LoL.

Preschool Easter

JaCoby had been excited to attend his Easter party today at preschool. So finnally the day came and he even invited his friend Victoria. Mom decided to stay and help out and I am glad she did. She got alot of nice shots of JaCoby and his friends. To top it all off, the preschool class (even JaCoby) went and saw the movie Horton Hears A Who. JaCoby loved it and wanted to tell me all about it when I got home.

Present's Day

Yes, I did write Present's day. Didn't you know that?? Because that is what JaCoby said it was today.

Tennille & I went to the Mesa Temple. Coincedently the Mesa Temple is only open on modays twice a year and today was one of those, so we took advantage of my day off and went. We especially wanted to go since it might be one of our last times to go to the temple in Mesa, being this close. JaCoby's preschool teacher was more than happy to let JaCoby come to school early, so we could get there early. At preschool today he made this picture (or at least put the pennies on it and wrote his name). He told us a story of something that happened to his friend's friend. I asked him how long ago did it happen? he said "It happened a 100 weeks ago." On the ride home, he said he was going to count to a 100 and I thought he was going to say 1... 100, but he actually counted all the way from 1 to 100 and did very well.

Keeping on the same line of cute saying he says; when he starts a story it is always "Once upon a time ago". For "tomorrow" he says "the next morning" Oh and you know that there is shara time in primary?? neither did I

Valentine's Day

JaCoby had a pretty cool Valentine's party at his school the above slide shows alot of the photos that mom took, she loves the camera. This day was quite anticipated, for weeks JaCoby would ask "Is today Valentine's Day?".

Of course I had to spoil Tennille rotten as I have traditionally have done since we dated. For Valentine's I gave her a bouquet of hershey kiss rose buds, a boquet of gladiolas, and chocolate of course.

Happy Chinese New Year

Thursday, at preschool they talked about Chinese New Year. They learned all about the Chinese New year and how they have thier celebrations. Chinese believe you are not supposed to clean your house nor your hair, we cant remember why. JaCoby learned all about the chinese traditions and customs. JaCoby had fun making the little projects and came home with a paper dragon, pennies in and envelope (for luck), and a paper chinese lantern.

Look I'm under China

Look mom

And you thought chopsticks were supposed to be used in one hand not two, well JaCoby showed us!

Play me some Chinese music

Don't eat my finger!

Early Wednesday Birthday

JaCoby was able to celebrate his birthday a week early at preschool with all his little buddies. Mom made chocolate and rainbow chip cupcakes for the party.

Cool!!!

What's my wish going to be?????
After JaCoby made his wish and blew out his candles he was surprised that they came back alive and they were trick candles, he looked shocked at first, and then later he thought it was quite funny.

You can't go a birthday year without getting a pic of the chipmunk cheeks

Mmmm Yum
