Present's Day

Yes, I did write Present's day. Didn't you know that?? Because that is what JaCoby said it was today.

Tennille & I went to the Mesa Temple. Coincedently the Mesa Temple is only open on modays twice a year and today was one of those, so we took advantage of my day off and went. We especially wanted to go since it might be one of our last times to go to the temple in Mesa, being this close. JaCoby's preschool teacher was more than happy to let JaCoby come to school early, so we could get there early. At preschool today he made this picture (or at least put the pennies on it and wrote his name). He told us a story of something that happened to his friend's friend. I asked him how long ago did it happen? he said "It happened a 100 weeks ago." On the ride home, he said he was going to count to a 100 and I thought he was going to say 1... 100, but he actually counted all the way from 1 to 100 and did very well.

Keeping on the same line of cute saying he says; when he starts a story it is always "Once upon a time ago". For "tomorrow" he says "the next morning" Oh and you know that there is shara time in primary?? neither did I

Amen

JaCoby gave a talk today in primary, well he repeated what I said, anyway the talk was going good and all. He said the whole talk and he than bore his testimony and ended it saying "... in the name of AMEN" As you can imagine the whole primary had a good laugh even the 1st counselor of the bishopric. This is one we won't forget for quite a while..

and Mesa Temple makes 3

Snowflake, St. George and now Mesa Temple, that is now three different temples in three months we have attended.
On Saturday, we had ward temple day in Mesa, Arizona. This was a great opportunity especially since they had arrangements to take care of the children. What a marvelous experience it was, especially to see such a gorgeous temple inside and out. Here are a few photos that were captured.

Caught by Surprise so no smile in this photo

You won't see these on the temple grounds in St. George or Salt Lake for that matter.

Sorry about the washed out photo, but hey it is a family photo in front of the house of the Lord.

Reverent Child on Sunday Sep 9th

Doesn't JaCoby look so cute. This was taken right before we went to church and he was to stand in front of everybody for the 10 minutes before sacrament meeting started with his arms folded to let everyone know that it was time to be quiet. He did a great job.
