Ouchy Ouchy!!!!
On sunday morning we were getting ready to go to church and Coby was ironing JaCoby's shirt and his for church (you all know I hate to Iron) thanks to JaCoby who told his Grandma he didn't know what an Iron was...another long story in the life of Tennille j/k. Anyways Coby unplugged the iron and JaCoby wanted to see what it was..you know how curious 5 year olds are... and he thought since it was unplugged it wouldn't be hot and he touched it with his hand and got a second degree burn. He was rushed to be seen at the doctor's and now has a wrap around his hand. Poor little guy was also throwing up half the night. He wasn't drinking enough water and got sick. He is now doing better. Note to everyone, if you get a burn... your body takes up alot more water to help heal it so you need to drink even more.We have been giving him tons and tons of water and he is getting spoiled like crazy. He called his Aunt Megan and got her awnsering machine and said Aunt Megan, it's JaCoby and I want to talk to you so call me back...she did, very quickly and he had to tell her everything that happend, including how many times in the night he threw up. Poor little guy. On a side note I just wanted to tell all of you I have decided to also add a new recipe to the blog each week. I thought it would be fun so you guys can try them and tell me what you think. None of the recipes are my own...of course. I hope you understand all this cuz I was up half of the night. Poor little guy.....

oooh, poor little dude! I cringe! As soon as the iron is off, we all leave the room. I'm so paranoid! With good reason, apparently. I hope it heals quickly, and that he learned his lesson!
aww poor guy. i read this the other day but blogger was being weird and wouldnt let me comment. I feel so bad for him. Burns are so hard because the pain is constant. hope he is feeling better!!
You know- its kind of funny because I did the exact same thing at the same age. My mom was going to iron and I wanted to help, so I went to see if the iron was hot yet, and sure enough...it was. I put my whole hand flat on the iron. I don't think I went to the doctor but I was scared of irons for a long time. LOL Poor little guy. I know how he feels. Glad you guys are doing well! - Erin
