School Pics

JaCoby's latest pic from school. He looks so grown up. He is about 5 ft 7 in, 117 pounds and is currently wearing a size 10.5 shoe in mens. Wow they never stay small for long.

The Last Time

As of October 23 2014, I have officially retired from the Utah Army National Guard. This picture was taken the last day I will be in uniform active. My very supportive wife Tennille, whom took the picture, has supported me throughout my career. Retiring now is the most unselfish decision I have ever made in my life and I would not have it any other way.

Courtney coming home

Courtney came home on Wednesday and these are a few of the pics I took. For that reason I am not in them.

Mom doing one of the hardest things for a missionary, taking off the badge for the very last time. Mom said "I can't, I don't want to do it." A lot of tears were shed on all sides.

We are so glad that Courtney is home. She served the Lord so honorably and will continue to do so throughout her life.

Halloween pics

Here are a few Halloween pics.

 Tennille dressed up in a ghoul costume. It has a hood, but she elected to keep it up.

JaCoby dressed up as a nerd, he had glasses on too, but he broke them at  recess, but at least he still had the fake buck teeth.

A prayerful cat

We caught our cat in this position last night. To me it looks as if she is praying. I guess even cats need to seek Heavenly Guidance.

 We went to the fire house open house yesterday, for someone not wanting to go, JaCoby sure had a great time.

We had to ask 3 firefighters to try on a suit because JaCoby's big size 10.5 feet would not fit in any other ones. LOL

JaCoby's Baptism

December 4th was JaCoby's big day.

He was baptized.

I was so nervous to do the ordinance, the last time I baptised somebody was the last day of my mission and I did it in Spanish. I Had never baptised somebody in English. I had a dream the night before that I was going to do the whole thing in Spanish including the confirmation. Luckily that did not happen, there was a cheat sheet on the wall of the font that I was thankful for.

After he was baptized and while we were getting dressed he asked me, "since we are done, can I go home now?"

I said "you are not quite done, there is one more part."

Thanksgiving

We had a great small get together with my mother,my sister, Tennille, JaCoby and myself. We had a lot of fun cooking the dinner with all the trimmings and even played Mega-Monopoly. I am proud to say I won. It was sad to see them all go and get back to the grind of school and work. bummer deal dude

Our Revamped Frontroom

It has been almost a year since we bought our home and we wanted to show off our Frontroom. Before as you see in the photo marked Living Room, of which was taken before we bought the home, the walls are painted a really light beige color which we did not like at all. We have now painted it a Roasted chestnut (light brown) color that we totally love. The only thing left to do in this room is refinish the floor, put crown moulding on the cieling.  Enjoy the pics.
