I did this last year following Megan's example and I thought I would do it this year.
1. What did you do in 2009 that you had never done before?

I received a calling of shoveling snow(actually using thier snow blower) at the chapel. I did not even know such a calling existed

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions and do you intend to make any for 2010?
Yes we bought a house in Spanish Fork YIPEE

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Megan and Chellayne

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, but I ditto Megan There was a close one

5. What countries did you visit?
none, I was supposed to to go to Germany but it got cancelled

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you didn't have in 2009?
another child

7. What dates will be etched into your memory from 2009 and why?
October 27th we closed on our house and October 29th. Finding about our wonderful father Doug was hospitalized and it was very bad

8. What is your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving the house buying period

9. What is your biggest failure?
I received an E in a college class.

10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
nothing too serious this year.

11. What is the best thing you bought?
Our house

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
JaCoby reading on a 4th grade reading level. Cool huh?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled or depressed?
our son

14. Where did most of your money go?
our house

15. What did you get really excited about?
To paint our kitchen yellow. Finnally something other than white in a house next the rest of the house!

I have no idea I mainly listen to classic country 107.5

c. richer or poorer? not sure more in debt with the house but I made more in 2009

reading scriptures

with family

Just more and more in love with my wife

A house

nothing we can not obtain later

I turned 34. Nothing imparticular just stayed at home and enjoyed family and receiving birthday phone calls.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
unsure on this one

no fashion sense

who in this world is sane?

The person that is supposed to be our president

My grandparents

If you are patient things always work out

38. What is the one thing you said this year that you never thought you'd say?
Our turtle Rex that we thought was a boy is a girl due to laying eggs go figure. Her name now is Rexy

39. What was the one thing you heard that you never thought you would hear?
"He might not make it." ditto on what Megan said I could not say it any better

40. What do you anticipate will be the biggest change in your life in 2010?
Hopefully an addition to our family by means of an adoption.
