WOW WHAT A WEEK

Wow what a week, We left on Monday the 24th on for the long journey to St. George, Utah. Unfortunately Tennille wasn't feeling good, so I drove to Knigman. We stopped at the Holiday Inn there to spend the night, I think it's what Tennille needed. She seemed to feel better afterwards.

We than continued the drive to St. George, We decided to surprise Grandma Winkler at Beaver Dam Elementary, the kids loved JaCoby (but who doesn't).Just as we got to St. George Tennille commented how beautiful it was to see the red dirt. I never thought dirt could be so beautiful!!!

When we got to Grandma McKnight's, JaCoby wanted to see 3 people in the following order; grandma, grandpa, than Cambria. Who would of thought Cambria would have made such an impact on his life. :) Grandma already had plans for us to go to the annual church dutch oven cookout party. We loved it, especially JaCoby. He decided to show off his climbing talents on the climbing wall.

As you can see by this next photo he even did better than his dad.

Wednesday, was RELAX day, Tennille went to Kohl's with her mother and megan (no photos of the shopping trip sorry, so I found the store logo LOL).
That afternoon we went to see my brother Lonnie. It was real nice visiting with him, We hadn't seen him in over a year.

JaCoby seemed right at home with his Uncle Lonnie.

He wanted us to meet his girlfriend Shelby, so we took them out to dinner at Iggy's. We also had a blast playing some board games with them.We sure thought they were quite a cute couple. Tennille really liked her and commented on how they love the same books.

On Thursday morning, grandma McKnight watched JaCoby while Tennille and I went to the St. George Temple. Boy do we love that temple.

That afternoon we went to Pine Valley, to relax at the McKnight Retreat and breathe in the fresh mountain air. JaCoby loved it.

JaCoby loved counting the deer 1, 2, 3, ...

How many can you count?

Friday morning, one of the major reasons we came up; my uncle Curtis' wedding . So again G-ma McKnight to the rescue to help take care of JaCoby as always we knew she would do a great job.

Here are few photos from the couple and their family:

That evening we went to to Staheli Family Petting Zoo. It was fun watching JaCoby play with Hanah and Seth. There will be photos to come later, since my camera decided not to cooperate for the rest of the day, hopefully Megan will send me some of hers, until than here is a preview that I pulled off the internet.
On Saturday morning we headed home with a stop in our favorite hotel in Kingman.
Sunday the drive into Tucson went good, except for the fact that Tennille got tired of seeing Joshua trees on a 100 mile scenic biway of nothing but pretty much Joshua trees. I don't know about you but I am beat.
GOOD NIGHT
